Ponta do Oeste receives nearly one million euros for renovations in Ribeira Brava
The Regional Government of Madeira, through Resolutions no. 135/2026 and no. 136/2026, has formalized financial cooperation with Ponta do Oeste - Sociedade de Promoção e Desenvolvimento da Zona Oeste da Madeira, S.A. for two structural interventions in Ribeira Brava:
- Ribeira Brava Swimming Pools (PIDDAR Project no. 53693): Investment of up to €400,000.00 for the rehabilitation of infrastructure and equipment, focusing on energy efficiency and safety. The funding is staggered with €300,000.00 for 2026 and €100,000.00 for 2027.
- Ribeira Brava Parking Lot (PIDDAR Project 53691): Investment of up to €599,200.00 for the rehabilitation of interior and exterior areas, aiming to safeguard heritage and safety. The funding is staggered with €339,200.00 for 2026 and €260,000.00 for 2027.
Both program contracts are effective until December 31, 2027.
